We know how important data protection is. Therefore we use Apple's iCloud Service to save your data. Your data, all text and pictures you use in the app are stored on your device and are synced automatically with your personal iCloud storage. At the same location where all your Photos App pictures are stored and your notes from the Notes App, for example. Only you can access the data and nobody else. Another benefit of storing your data in your personal iCloud storage is that when you reinstall the app - either on a new iPhone or on another one of your devices - your existing data is automatically synced with the app, so that you always have the newest entries synced across all your devices.
Yes, as long as iCloud is activated in your system settings on your iPhone or iPad and you're logged in with the same Apple ID and your internet connection is working, your data is automatically synced across all your devices. Therefore you can create a new entry on your iPhone on the go and later watch it on the iPad, for example. If you use the app on one of your devices for the first time or you deleted and re-installed the app, it takes a little while until your existing data is synced from your iCloud account. This happens automatically, but it will take a while. If you start the app and no existing data is visible, please wait a little while and navigate through the app, to settings and back to home, for example. After a little while, you should see the entries you created before. If syncing doesn't work, please exit the app and restart it. Also please check if you're logged into iCloud with the same Apple ID you used before and if your internet connection is working properly.
If you share entries with other people, they see exactly the photo card with text and date label, that you shared and that you saw in the share preview. Other people cannot access your app data, they only see the picture you shared.
